Fantasy ImpactPierce missed Indianapolis' practice on Thursday, but it looks like that was just for injury maintenance, as he was back and a full participant for them at practice on Friday. He carries no injury designation heading into the weekend and will play on Sunday night, although it remains quite possible that he will continue to have minor limitations while the team ramps his workload back up.

Fantasy ImpactPierce was limited in practice earlier this week, and this is the next big step for the newly anointed WR1 for the Colts on the road to full recovery and return to play. He will operate as the Colts primary deep threat this season when on the field, opening things up for Josh Downs and Tyler Warren over the middle and short areas.

Fantasy ImpactPierce has been rehabbing from surgery back in March. The big-play wideout will finally join the Colts at practice in hopes of being ready to go for Week 1. Pierce eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving for the first time in his career last season and has led the NFL in yards per catch each of the last two years.

Fantasy ImpactPierce has been sidelined for the entire preseason due to a nagging ankle injury that he is recovering from. He seems to be closing in on a return, however, as he may be able to return to practice later this week. He will need some time to get fully up to speed before he pays off in fantasy, however, so fantasy managers should pay close attention to all updates about his health moving forward.
