Fantasy ImpactPenix didn't have to do too much on Monday with Atlanta's backfield combining for over 200 yards and five touchdowns in this blowout win over the Saints. The third-year quarterback was efficient on his limited work and should continue to support Atlanta's offense moving forward, as it has seen a very significant step forward ever since he reclaimed the starting job.

Fantasy ImpactPenix might not have had the biggest fantasy day, but the Falcons' offense sure felt his return. They hadn't made a trip to the red zone in the previous two games, and they did just that on their second drive of the game. The 35 points more than doubled the Falcons' total offensive output in 2026, and things are now looking up.

Fantasy ImpactPenix has yet to participate in team drills during training camp. “If I had a rush coming at me and everything, I can get away,” Penix said. “But it’s just the right now is if I don’t get away. That’s what we’re thinking about: If I don’t get away. I don’t think my doctor is ready for me to take those hits right now, but that time is coming real soon.” Tua Tagovailoa remains the current favorite to start Week 1 for the Falcons.
